My approach to design

Simplicity is a strategy.

Access ≠ understanding.

Providing data is just a starting point to helping users understand what it means. Design plays a critical role in translating raw data —> insights. Providing more data does not increase understanding; people need context and framing.

When we design without context and framing, we leave users no choice but to rely on their confirmation bias to fill the gaps. I strive to bridge the gap between complex data and decision-making by bringing structure, hierarchy, and simplicity in my design practice.
